PLAN4DEMAND RELOCATING CORPORATE HOME OFFICE FROM SUBURBAN PITTSBURGH TO CITY Local move linked to strategic expansion and continued growth PITTSBURGH,
PA, August 15, 2003 Plan4Demand Solutions, Inc., According to CEO Lisa Kustra, Plan4Demand signed a multi-year lease for 5,700 square feet of office space in the historic Cardello Building, located near the north side of the West End Bridge. The company will occupy its new offices effective Monday, August 25, 2003. "We have more space in our Green Tree office, but the majority of our employees live and work literally all around the world," said Kustra. "The new space will provide plenty of room for our home office staff, including several team members who fly in every week from out of state. The timing of this move also makes sense financially, since the savings we'll realize will help offset the costs of our plan to open two more satellite offices in 2004, on the West Coast and in London." Plan4Demand, which was founded in 2000 and employs more than 50 people throughout North America and in England, already has satellite offices in Miami, FL and Boston, MA. And according to Kustra, the privately-held company has posted revenues through Q2 2003 that are up 20% over last year. "Our company is growing financially and physically," she said. "Since the beginning of the year, we've hired more than a dozen new industry-veteran consultants with highly specialized expertise in both supply chain management operations and technologies. We've launched a very successful practice targeting warehouse management. And nearly 30 percent of our clients are among the FORTUNE 1000. " "Additionally," said Kustra, who also serves as the director of the Greater Pittsburgh chapter of WITI (Women in Technology International), "I'm pleased at the opportunity this move truly gives us to become part of the City of Pittsburgh. It's a small initiative, comparatively speaking, but it's the kind of effort that demonstrates our commitment to helping our community grow, and I'm absolutely a believer in the importance of that."
