Thompson (Tom) Jones Tom is a seasoned entrepreneurial executive with over 20 years of executive marketing experience in high technology companies. Prior to founding Draper Triangle, Tom served as vice president of marketing for IndustryNet, an early stage electronic commerce company, where he led the strategic and marketing activities in growing the company from a startup to over $20 million in revenues in three years. Prior to IndustryNet, Tom was an executive member of the marketing team at International Cybernetics Corp., one of the nation's fastest-growing robotic controls companies from 1982 through 1985, when it was merged into Gould Electronics. Tom is a graduate of the College of Wooster. He also serves on the boards of SpaElegance and Angstrom Sciences. John
H. Tippins Prior to joining Stonewood Capital Management in 1998, John was a member of the management team of Tippins Incorporated, a global company that developed and built rolling mill facilities for the metals industry. During his 20 years there, John's responsibilities ranged from developing sophisticated control systems to creating a brokerage division dedicated to buying and selling used steel mill equipment on a global scale. John currently serves as a director of the Tippins Foundation, a philanthropic organization supporting education and research in the areas of entrepreneurship and Alzheimer's disease. He is a trustee of the Pittsburgh Opera, The Pittsburgh Civic Light Orchestra, Shady Side Academy, and the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. He is a member of the advisory council of the Donald H. Jones Center for Entrepreneurship at Carnegie Mellon University. He is also a director of numerous other privately held corporations and partnerships. John is a graduate of Shady Side Academy and earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh's Katz School of Business.
