Senior SAP Consultant (APO)
Plan4Demand is an established supply chain management consulting firm focused on mid and large market manufacturers and distributors. We provide solutions for the challenges they face in demand management, sales and operations planning, cost-to-produce, and cost-to-serve operational areas. While we are technology neutral and process centric; we service many clients that use SAP to enable their supply chain.
We are recruiting consultants with a specialization in Demand & Supply, to continue to grow our organization.
As a consultant with us over the long-term, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Collaborate with our Global 500 and Fortune 1000 client partners on world-class business process assessments and design projects in demand and supply planning.
- Lead tier 1 demand and supply planning systems implementations.
- Help business leaders justify investment/growth strategies (and drive buy-in).
- Help clients establish industry best practices in demand and supply management.
- Cross over into key business process areas such as pricing & promotions optimization and network optimization.
- Assist or lead S&OP assessments and implementations.
- Optimize transportation and distribution networks
Requirements
While we are open to evaluating supply chain consultants that have experience with any tier 1 APS technology, we have a particular need for a Senior Consultant or Manager level consultant with strong experience in the SAP/SCM (APO) suite.
We are looking for the following experience:
- Hands-on knowledge of the SAP/SCM (APO) Suite version 5.0 or above.
- Strong process-level skills in demand planning, forecasting, supply planning, production planning, scheduling, DRP, inventory optimization, transportation planning.
- Project team management experience (functional or technical resources) or experience serving as a track lead.
- Consumer Goods or Retail experience a plus.
- Previous 3rd party consulting experience (at least 2+ years) a plus.
- Working knowledge of implementation methodologies, project planning, and management of client expectations and deliverables.
- Ability to develop and manage strong client relationships, particularly at the executive level.
- Home base location may be anywhere. Relocation is not required, however traveling is required, when billing on a project.
