Consulting Services Practice Leader
Plan4Demand, an established Pittsburgh based supply chain consulting services firm with a client base in Consumer Products Goods and an emphasis in Food and Beverage markets seeks a highly entrepreneurial delivery leader to manage the national field consulting team, with a commitment to drive excellence in customer satisfaction, while ensuring profitable and successful execution of consulting engagements leading to outstanding references and follow-on revenue in the account base.
The right candidate will have personal experience in managing either a practice/division’s consulting force or a mid-size firm’s entire delivery team. The position requires strong skills in engagement management, project management, change management, compliance, documentation of metrics and ROI results, quality assurance, risk management planning and execution and a passion for building and retaining top notch talent.
Strong cross functional supply chain knowledge at the process level is a must, which includes Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Transportation Planning and Sales and Operational Planning. A solid understanding of tier-one and tier-two supply chain technologies (JDA/Manugistics, Oracle Value Chain Planning/Demantra, SAP APO, i2, Logility, etc.,) is necessary. Deep experience in building consulting practices, recruiting top talent with an eye for career pathing for advancement and retention is crucial. Need a charismatic leader to create team spirit in the consulting delivery team.
We prefer candidates who live in a major market east of the Mississippi.
Up to 100% national travel may be required

Must have the following experience or demonstrate the ability to
meet these requirements:
- Experience in managing consulting services P&L; need depth in balancing the constraints of client demands, resource skills and availability, career advancement commitments, financial constraints with the overall strategic goals of the organization
- Proven experience in building a consulting service strategy and the organization to support it
- Skilled in talent recruitment, development, people management , must be able to work with recruitment strategy to build pools of talent for fulltime hire and contracting
- Executive level sales interaction- must be able to communicate effectively with C-Level Executives, EVP's, and VP's concerning supply chain efficiencies and technology integration
- A strong background in engagement management, SoW creation, risk management, project management, documentation of success and ROI factors, quality assurance and compliance in project execution
- Prefer deep consulting background working with project teams on site with team sizes ranging from 2-6 people
- Experience building and managing alliance partner relationships with software
vendors
Program Management Office experience, bench management, and Intellectual Property development (including patent pending toolkits) - The position requires outstanding written/oral communication and presentation skills, mastery of Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.,) as well as Microsoft Project, and project accounting capabilities
- 4 year degree at minimum with preference for Masters and PhD., PMP, CSCMP, APICS, Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certifications
- Billable utilization expectation is 30-40%.
