PLAN4DEMAND PROFESSIONALS NAMED "PROS TO KNOW" BY SUPPLY & DEMAND CHAIN EXECUTIVE MAGAZINE FOR THE THIRD STRAIGHT YEAR
PITTSBURGH, PA, April 13, 2009—Lisa M. Kustra, CEO of Plan4Demand Solutions, announced that Practice Director Jay Burgess and Senior Manager Miguel Mota have been chosen by the editors of Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine as supply chain Pros to Know. Their specific recognition appears in the "provider" section of the list. 2009 marks the third straight year that Plan4Demand professionals have made the annual prestigious list.
Featured in the February/March issue of the magazine, which targets business executives in charge of supply and demand chain management, this year's Provider Pros to Know list spotlights supply chain professionals who have personally helped clients in these challenging economic times by assisting them in managing risk, providing competitive advantage, and/or delivering value to the bottom line.
Mr. Burgess is an industry veteran with deep demand, supply, and logistics experience. Throughout his career he has designed and deployed supply chain solutions using strategies surrounding globalization and risk mitigation. He has a vast history of helping organizations in good economic times, as well as in challenging economic climates through his fundamental philosophy of "keep it simple."
With over a decade of international experience, Mr. Mota has been instrumental in driving millions of dollars in savings into companies through innovations in supply chain management and optimization. In turbulent economic times when many company executives tend to fear spending, he believes that companies should capitalize on what they have and identify positive changes that create the biggest bang for the buck in order to improve and maximize visibility and agility within organizations.
"This year's Provider Pros to Know have shown themselves to be thought leaders in their respective supply chain segments," said Andrew K. Reese, editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive. "Their efforts in developing the tools and processes that enable companies to weather risky economic conditions and place them in a position to surge ahead in better times have earned them a place on this year's Provider Pros listing."
