PLAN4DEMAND CONSULTANT NAMED INDUSTRY "PRO TO KNOW" BY SUPPLY & DEMAND CHAIN EXECUTIVE MAGAZINE

PITTSBURGH, PA, March 17, 2008—Plan4Demand Solutions, the consulting services firm specializing in global supply chain planning, today announced that David C. Healey, a senior consultant, has been chosen by the editors of Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine for recognition in that publication's annual list of supply chain Pros to Know.

Featured in the February/March 2008 issue of the magazine, which targets business executives in charge of supply and demand chain management, the annual Pros to Know listing spotlights individuals who have personally helped raise the profile of supply chain planning and operations as a strategic business function.

"Like all our consultants, Dave is a hands-on professional with deep expertise in supply chain planning strategies, business processes, and technologies," said Plan4Demand CEO Lisa M. Kustra. "In addition to providing visionary leadership, insights, and expertise for our clients, Dave has distinguished himself as an international presenter, educator, and author of numerous white papers and articles published by national journals focusing on supply chain planning excellence."

Mr. Healey has more than 25 years of experience—in industry and consulting—specializing in demand management and statistical forecasting, fulfillment strategies, and sales and operations planning (S&OP). He's lectured extensively on S&OP, systems implementations, and on the technical aspects of SAP supply chain management software packages like APO, DP, and SNP.

This year's Pros to Know were selected for influencing and redefining supply chain excellence in the 21st century.

"Their efforts in developing the tools and processes necessary for supply chain transformation, and in promoting new approaches to supply chain enablement, are helping raise supply chain's status within the enterprise," said Andrew K. Reese, the editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive.

According to Mr. Healey, who has led supply chain improvement initiatives for Fortune 1000 and Global 500 corporations across a range of industries, supply chain leaders in the 21st century face increasingly complex, often contradictory challenges.

"Businesses need to shrink their supply chains in terms of both cost and time, while dealing with ever-increasing demand from consumers for product variety and supply chain responsiveness," he said.

"Forward-thinking leaders realize they must go further-to mesh the results of demand planning with the efforts of the supply/fulfillment side. The key remains focusing on people and process first, then technology. No amount of technology will ever take the place of knowledgeable and dedicated supply chain professionals."
